The Faith and Work Podcast is a regularly scheduled podcast focused on faith and work issues, sponsored by the Denver Institute for Faith and Work.

Location: Denver, CO

About The Podcast

The Faith and Work Podcast explores our everyday work in God’s world. Through conversations with organizational leaders, frontline workers, and scholars across industries, the Denver Institute For Faith and Work tackles common workplace challenges, broadens your vision for how God is at work in our communities, and offer tools to deepen your experience of God on the job.

About The Presenting Organization

The idea of Denver Institute began in 2012 as a group of city leaders met regularly at Jake’s in Old Littleton to discuss the idea, “What do the Gospel, spiritual formation, and public service have to do with marketplace leaders and what they produce?”

From that question, Denver Institute launched in 2013. Early public events focused on topics like faith and technology or featured speakers like Eugene Peterson on vocation, and they have since grown to over 9,000 people attending events on business, the arts, education, built environment, workforce development, women and work, calling, and spiritual formation at work.

Since then, the Denver Institute added church leader events, discussion resources through industry groups, the Faith and Work Classroom, Business for the Common Good, and the 5280 Fellowship to form professionals for “life with God, for the city, through their work.” Remaining committed to the Front Range, the Denver Institute began stewarding its influence nationally in 2020 through the “Faith and Work Podcast”, the CityGate leaders ecosystem, and the “Women, Work & Calling” initiative.
